After series of meetings, organised in period from December 2018 till February 2019, with representatives of university student organisations, parliaments and unions active at public universities, we have initiated a capacity assessment of the students’ organisations. The focus groups were organized to analyse current level of organisational and development capacities of the organisations of future academic citizens of BiH. The assessment results provided a valuable insight in needs for the organisational development activities, required for capacity development of the organisations representing and advocating for population of university students in BiH.
Training for representatives of student unions and parliaments was organised in Mostar from 5 till 7 April 2019 as the initial activity for capacity development of the university student organisations. During the training, the representatives of students had opportunity to exchange their work experience and create operational activity plan to improve the work of the student representative bodies in BiH.
This activity was implemented within the project „Youth Empowerment and Development Initiative“- YEDI, implemented by ACED in partnership with mreSVUBIH. The YEDI project is funded by the European Union.
