Round tables held to strengthen the capacity of member BIDF Network in BiH

Agency for Cooperation, Education and Development in the framework of the project “Establishing Balkans independent disability framework” , funded by the European Union, organized five round tables for disability organizations – members BIDF Network in BiH.
Roundtables were held in in the period 30 May – 03 June, at hotel “Sunce” in Neum, on the themes of access, Education, Health, Labour and Employment and Social protection of persons with disabilities with the aim of presenting the draft report, “Guidelines and recommendations for harmonization of legislation in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the UNCRPD “in 5 specific areas, and to ensure transparency and CSO members BIDF networks to express their views and opinions and to take an active role in the development of the final report,” Guidelines and recommendations for harmonization of legislation in BIH with UNCRPD. ”

After collecting information through the base-line survey on the needs of the development of DPO-member national BIDF network, ACED in coordination with partners and professional coaches define training programs and methodology training for representatives / members will BIDF network in BiH, given the capacity and level of understanding potential trainees.
The first round of basic training for representatives of organizations of persons with disabilities member BIDF Network in BiH, was held on October 01.-02.06.2015. at Sun in Neum, on topics 1) Strategic planning and 2) Writing the proposal.
