MreVUK SBK: Training in Vitez

High school students are not just students but a huge potential for contributing to the progress of the community and the future, and they showed it on april 5th and 6th. High school students of Central Bosnia Canton attended the training of the Network of student councils of Central Bosnia Canton, which was held in Vitez. In this training high school students had the opportunity, through interactive workshops, creative expression, team exercises, primarily strengthen their capacities, characteristics and skills. During the training new leadership of the Network of student councils of Central Bosnia Canton were elected, so that Inzudin Čejvan became the new chairman, his deputies are Almina Mukača and Ema Bečirović, a function of PR Network Council of students of Central Bosnia Canton will be carried out by all members of the leadership, to team engagement future work as successful as possible.

According to the president of the Network of student councils SBK, she is very happy that the network of student councils SBK consists of young, ambitious people, full of motivation and desire for change, and to finally realize that our high school students are not a problem but a resource that this country possesses. In addition to the many ideas that are intertwined in this two-day training, we decided to make a joint activity of the so-called “MreVUKlijada” to networked, met all secondary schools SBK and create a positive image of high school students in BiH. The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport SBK Mrs. Katica Cerkez that the participants discussed the current situation in the canton in the field of education and is guided discussions about problems and ways of solving them also in the field of education and culture.

Program of developing networks of highschool student councils in BiH, implemented by ACED in partnership with OKC, is financially supported by EU Commission and NED (Natonal endowment for democracy).
