Agency for Cooperation, Education and Development ACED Banja Luka signed a contract with the United states\u00a0Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina on co-financing the project ,, Promoting reconciliation through strengthening the Secondary school student councils\u201d. ACED will implement the\u00a0planned project activities in the period from 01 October 2016 to 30 September 2017.<\/p>\n

Overall project objective<\/strong>\u00a0is to increase the level of cooperation among secondary school students, Student Councils (SC) and their networks based on a common platform for advocating student interests that will contribute to their recognition by school, municipal and governmental authorities and enable the introduction of the BIH Student Council Network (mreSVUBIH) into regional and European associations of secondary school students.<\/p>\n

Specific objectives\u00a0<\/strong>of this project are:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. to promote inter-ethnic reconciliation in BIH through developing a functional Student Council Networks able to represent and advocate for the interests of school youth by organizing Capacity building, networking and advocacy trainings for SC representatives and<\/li>\n
  2. \u00a0to encourage sustainability of student networking, cooperation and partnership among SC networks by conducting national advocacy campaigns and conference.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
