Agency for cooperation, education and development ACED\u00a0Banja Luka organized another consultative meeting, this time in Trebinje. The meeting was organised as part of the project “\u201cEnsuring access to Justice for witness\/victims through strengthening existing and establishing new Witness support Networks across BiH” \u00a0implementing with its partner organizations : UG “Vive \u017eene” Tuzla, UG “Medica” Zenica, Foundation “Udru\u017eene \u017eene” Banja Luka. This project is funded by the European Union.<\/p>\n
This meeting held on 22.10. \u00a0hotel Platani, in Trebinje, \u00a0an agreement was signed on cooperation between representatives of institutions, non-governmental sector and project team, and so formed multidisciplinary support network for witnesses\/victims in Doboj region.<\/p>\n
Goal of establishing this network is to timely and adequately respond to the needs of witnesses\/victims in judicial proceedings through multidisciplinaran approach to Trebinje in the region. Multidisciplinarna network will provide support for witnesses\/victims before, during and after the trial process.<\/p>\n
At the meeting it was discussed about the activities of network, on the way coordination as well as future work. Participants identified the problems and needs, as well as to which way adequately to respond to all challenges in providing support for witnesses\/victims in Trebinje region area. They also identified needs of institutions in order to protect professionals involved in supporting witnesses\/victims, primarily refers to the prevention of psychosocial burnout in providing assistance. In the next year, the project team will organize trainings and education, among other things, on the topic of prevention\u00a0psychosocial burnout of professionals who provide psychosocial support for witnesses\/victims.<\/p>\n
It was announced, \u00a0a major conference, \u201cSupport to witnesses\/victims in BIH? \u201c, which will, as part of the project, \u00a0take place from 11. \u2013 On 13 November in Sarajevo, where participants will have the opportunity to network with representatives from other regions and the cantons share their experience in order to create most functional models for support for witnesses and victims in Trebinje region.<\/p>\n
