  - - So far, ACED has been granted a total of 82 projects. In the first half of 2020, ACED had 5 ongoing projects with an operating budget if over EUR 2.4 million for the next three years. Current projects are funded by international donor agencies and BiH institutions. The project activities can be classified as follows:
      
      – Civil society capacity building for NGOs, student groups, youth organizations, women, and associations of people with disabilities;
      
      – Economic development – improvement of competitiveness of SMEs and enterprises; competency building for (self-)employment, assistance to start-ups; and
      
      – Social Entrepreneurship – setting up an enabling environment in BiH for this combination of social and economic development.

16 Study for identifying construction land intended for the development of small and medium enterprises

Donor: CIDEA – City Development Agency Banja Luka

Agency for Cooperation, Education and Development – ACED hired by City Development Agency Banja Luka to develop the “Study for identifying construction land intended for the development of small and medium enterprises”.

A contract was signed today with the City Development Agency Banja Luka (CIDEA) following a successful tendering procedure in which a number of institutions with adequate qualifications took part. The Contract concerns developing and writing the “Study for identifying construction land intended for the development of small and medium enterprises”.

ACED is the implementing agency that also coordinates all project activities. Experts hired to work on the study specialize in spatial planning, economics, law and mechanical engineering.

The realization of contract stipulations is set to last 120 days.
