In Sarajevo on 25 April at the ” Radon Plaza ” held founding assembly of the Network for Rural Development in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Successful work and conclusions of the founding meeting , Bosnia and Herzegovina for the first time received a formal network of civil society organizations engaged in rural development.
At the inaugural meeting a decision on establishment signed by 18 organizations from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina. Among these organizations was also included five local action groups operating in BiH . In the working part of the Assembly adopted the Statute and elected management bodies of the Network taking into account that the whole territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be covered and have a representative on the board . The headquarters of the Network will be in Banja Luka , and the President of the Network is Mr. Miodrag Matavulj , as a candidate in front of the Agency for Cooperation, Education and Development – ACED .
