The new civic debate “Stories from Untoldville” was realized on October 25th, in the premises of the Islamic community in Tešanj. Civic debate gathered dozen of participants, among whom were high school students, professors, politicians, activists, workers and others.
The group singled out several problems at the local community level that deserve attention of local authorities, including: poor education and health system, employment policy, corruption, lack of NGO activity, departure of young people, and passivity of citizens.
After the discussion, it was concluded that in the next period, another debate will be organized where possible solutions for the mentioned problems will be devised.
In the end, the participants of the reflection expressed their satisfaction and pointed out that after such meetings they were motivated to start changes in their community.
