The conference, which was attended by over 50 participants – representatives of organizations of persons with disabilities, organized by the Agency for Cooperation, Education and Development ACED within the project “Establishing the Balkans independent disability framework”, funded by the European Union.
The first day of the conference was dedicated to the “Statement of compliance The legislative and institutional framework in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro, the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities with recommendations for harmonization”, as well as the presentation of the project “The right of people with disabilities in parenting,” which implemented the Federation of Associations of paraplegics of Montenegro.
The second day of the conference was dedicated to promoting British independent network in the field of disability – the only regional network of civil society organizations working to improve the situation of persons with disabilities in the Western Balkans.
