For representatives of mreVUK Unsko-sanski Canton in the period from 4 to 6 February 2015, in Bihac, held a three-day training to which the heads of secondary schools strengthen their capacity in the area of advocacy and representation, networking and leadership. During the training was held elective assembly mreVUK where new leadership was elected.
On Friday 6 February 2015, there was a visit of the Network of student councils of Unsko-sanski Canton, which was attended by representatives of secondary schools in Canton. The aim of the visit was to introduce the work of the Assembly and the presentation of objectives, activities and plans of the Network of student councils (mreVUK) Unsko-sanski Canton.
After the presentation, representatives mreVUK were able to ask questions chairman and members of the Assembly. High school students have a number of questions concerning the possibility of involving students in decision-making processes, rights and responsibilities of high school, education policy, implementation of curricula, training of teachers and pupils’ standards as well as the possibilities of improving the system of secondary education.Program of developing student council networks in BiH, implemented by ACED in partnership with OKC, is financially supported by the European Union, the NED (National Endowment for Democracy), and BTD (Balkan trust for democracy).
