The three-day training seminar for the presidents of the student councils of secondary schools of the Sarajevo Canton , was held from 19 to 21 January 2015 in Sarajevo . The training enabled the participants to improve their knowledge and skills in the following areas : leadership , communication within the team , motivation of students to participate actively in the Council of students , the accountability , defining the structure of the network , develop a plan of action and the development of an advocacy campaign.
The main topics of the training were to establish better cooperation with the Ministry of Education , Science and Youth of Sarajevo Canton , as well as the design of the final campaign of the Network of student council of Bosnia and Herzegovina under the name ,, Stay or go ? ” Which will be held in May 2015 in Sarajevo.Program of developing student council networks in BiH, implemented by ACED in partnership with OKC, is financially supported by the European Union, the NED (National Endowment for Democracy), and BTD (Balkan trust for democracy).
