As part of the project “Promotion of the Students Participation in Democratic Reforms” which is being implemented by Youth Communication Center Banja Luka and the Agency for cooperation, education and development ACED Banja Luka, and which is funded by the European Union, from 11 to 13 November was held IX conference network of student councils of Republic of Srpska. The conference was organised in Bardača Training Center under the auspices of the Ministry of family, youth and sports RS. The conference was attended by one representative from each high school in the Republika Srpska as well as the guests – Presidents of network of student councils in FBIH cantons. The conference was based on the work in the groups (regions), where each region should identify problems of student councils in their school, find efficient methods to overcome these problems, make a plan of activities in region for the current school year and select new regional representatives.
Network of student councils in the school RS 2015/16. year plans to focus its activities to the promotion and representation of rights and interests translated into population as well as high school students and the involvement in the processes decision-making process. One of the strategic goals of action mRESURS is and for the establishment and improving cooperation with the state institutions responsible for secondary education.
In its annual plan mRESURS is included and the implementation survey among professors and students about the possibilities of improvement of curriculum and programs. High School Students are during the conference stressed the importance an informal education, as well as the necessity for modernization teaching process, in order to our high school students were in line with technological development. During this school year, high school students in the RS are planning to carry out activities that are aimed at bringing enrolement policy with labor market needs.
At the end of the each region presented their plans of work on a joint plenary session. On the last day of the conference all participants have visited the National Assembly where they had the opportunity to present Conference conclusions and to guests put some important issues of importance for srednjoškolsku population.
