Agency for Cooperation, Education and Development ACED, on 23 February 2016, organized the first meeting of the multidisciplinary network of support to witnesses / victims in the region of Trebinje. The meeting was organized within the project ,, Ensuring access to justice for witnesses / victims by strengthening the existing and establishing new networks of support to witnesses in BiH “funded by the European Union and implemented by four partner organizations: Agency for Cooperation, Education and Development ACED Banja Luka, UG ,, Vive žene”- Tuzla, UG ,, Medica” – Zenica, Foundation ,, Udružene žene”- Banja Luka. The meeting was organized with the aim of making the Protocol on cooperation between the institutions and non-governmental organizations in providing support to victims / witnesses in the region of Trebinje. Present members of the network (representatives of public institutions and NGOs) are in a constructive dialogue defined objectives of the Protocol, as well as the principles of work and mutual cooperation within the network of support to witnesses / victims in the region.
In addition to developing the protocol, they also discussed other issues concerning the plan of work and organization of the network. It was concluded, among other things, that it is desirable that as many non-governmental organizations involved in the operation of the network, and that the training of professionals from institutions / organizations, provided by the project, to enable more efficient work with end users.
