MRESURS organized public debate with young candidates for locl elections in BiH

In the Youth Center Banja Luka, 09.27.2016. held a public debate entitled “I want to meet the ones for which I should vote.” High school students from Banja Luka talked with the young politicians, who are on the lists of political parties in the BL. Adult high school students are to vote for the first time, and they take this seriously. For this reason they want to get young candidates on electoral lists obtain answers to questions regarding their future.

The debate was attended by close to 100 (one hundred) of high school students and 6 (six) candidates, political parties and one (1) independent candidate. There was talk about the problems that high school students encounter every day. The above mentioned problems are the lack of offices for high school students in Banja Luka, the lack of adequate infrastructures for sports activities, poor availability of National University Library of RS, low allocations for the development of culture and sports, and constant neglect of talents by the city government and many others. The aim of the debate was to raise awareness for candidates and encourage them to, if they get the credentials, they start to deal with problems of this population, which is very large, and this year, a much larger number go to the polls than it was the case in previous years, and certainly can not be neglected.

High school students have sent a message that it is time to begin to address their problems and to campaign promises for a change, they need to do in order to fulfill their local communities had progressed and what to provide these young people.
