Student representatives from 8 universities in BiH attended training on capacity development, organized within the project „Youth Empowerment and Development Initiative“- YEDI project. The project will be implemented by ACED in partnership with mreSVUBIH, supported by the European Union.
Training aimed to strengthen organizational capacities of the student unions and university parliaments in BiH took place in Sarajevo from May 31 till June 2, 2019. The training was attended by representatives of all 8 universities in BiH (University of Sarajevo, University of Banja Luka, University of East Sarajevo, University of Zenica, University of Bihac, University of Tuzla and 2 universities of Mostar).
Detailed analysis of the work of student parliaments and unions was baseline for creation of the operational plan for capacity development of student organizations in BiH. Significant time was devoted to methods of development of critical thinking, dialogue and reconciliation as extremely important personal competences of any representative of student population.
