Representatives of the high school students’ council in Una-Sana Canton will meet from October 23th to 25th , in the premises of the Hotel “Park” in Bihac at the new training for high school student representatives.
During the training, high school students are planned to cover a number of topics and analyze the work of student councils in the past period, while each president will give a short presentation on the activities in their school and the problems, as well as challenges they are facing in their communities.
In particular, the issue of online teaching and ways to improve the teaching process in schools will be analyzed. High school students will also discuss the impact and consequences of the coronavirus on the high school population. The weak activity of students in high schools will also be discussed, while participants will try to motivate young people to be more actively engaged in community and schools.
At the end of the training, a new leadership of the Una-Sana Canton will be elected for the current school year.
And on Sunday, a new civic debate is scheduled, this time in Tesanj, in the premises of the Islamic Community Tesanj. Participants will be young people and citizens who will discuss current socio-political topics. The beginning of the debate is scheduled for 1 p.m.
Civic debates are workshops that will provide interested participants with the opportunity to discuss various current socio-psychological topics from the role of citizens in a stimulating environment from their different perspectives of numerous civic roles. Each debate is organized and designed so that participants can think together and exchange views on different attitudes and experiences, and share personal experiences.
