Agency for Cooperation , Education and Development ( ACED ) informs students of the Faculty of Agriculture in Banja Luka , that can apply to practice as part of ACED ‘s project : ” Training for the improvement of business and design skills of women in rural areas ” .
Agency for Cooperation , Education and Development – ACED implements the project under a contract signed with FARMA project , which is supported by USAID ( US Agency for International Development ) and SIDA (Swedish International Development Agency ) . The overall objective is to improve the knowledge and skills of women from rural areas in the field of business and project planning and management , and that they thus increase the chances of participation in the business and development activities.
Within the project activities , ACED is able to provide practice for 10 students of Faculty of Agriculture and 6 students from the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development and the 4 students from other departments .
Students will participate in training for obtaining the necessary business and project knowledge and skills on writing business plans and proposals and will directly participate in the development of business plans and proposals in certain areas of agricultural production for the selected beneficiaries of the project . Students practice will be guided by staff ACED that will provide appropriate assistance to students for the successful execution of specific project activities.
The practice will last a total of 10 working days and will be held from 24 December 2012 until 17 February 2013 . Specific terms will be subsequently agreed with the selected students .
