Within the project ,, Reconciliation through history education “ACED organized the educational workshop for representatives mreVUK Herzegovina-Neretva Canton and West Herzegovina Canton. Education was held in Mostar on 15.03.2016. This project is funded by the European Union.
Participants had the opportunity to see the documentary movie ,, Sarajevo 1914 ” about the First world war, the occasion for the event itself, and about Gavrilo Princip. Representatives of mreVUK discussed the topic of study of the history of its country, and expressed their views on the subject. After seeing a documentary movie, participants were able to distinguish between what can be true and what is the impact made on the thinking of young people through the generations when it comes to this event. History is important, they say, because if you do not know history, then we tend to repeat the same mistakes.
