Agency for Cooperation , Education and Development – ACED, 27 June 2014 on the promotion of civil society organizations participating in the Programme sustainability of civil society presented its Department of Agriculture and Rural Development – CARD . ACED is a sector partner in this project which represents the sector of agriculture and rural development.
Through this project ACED will work on strengthening civil society organizations involved in the sector of agriculture and rural development in Bosnia and Herzegovina . One of the main goals is to create conditions for greater influence of civil society in the creation and implementation of public policies that are of interest to citizens , and in this case especially for the rural population. One of the activities in the next four years will be to establish a cross-sector network, which is designed as a strategic and strong partnerships between public, private and civil sectors. This network will act to improve the agricultural sector and rural development.
Program sustainability of civil society is funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID ) and the British Embassy and the implementers of the program by the Center for Civic Initiatives ( CCI ) and the Centre for Promotion of Civil Society ( CPCD ) .
