The first ,,Laktasi etno 2014″ fair

On Saturday , 04 October 2014 , ACED ‘s Department for Agriculture and Rural Development – CARD , have supported and taken an active part in the First Fair ” Laktaši etno- 2014 ” , which was held in the sports hall Nenad Baštinac in Aleksandrovac , in Laktaši. This event brought together more than thirty exhibitors and visitors who had the opportunity to see a wide range of products handicrafts , traditional crafts , traditional cuisine , authentic food and drink etc.

During the fair, visitors are met with current and future activities and projects CARD , and special attention is placed on exploring and presenting the importance and future of the Center for Economic and Rural Development – CERD to act on the territory of the region that SAVA GARDEN covers of Kozarska Dubica , Srbac , Laktasi and Gradiska . Additionally , CARD introduced this year the fruits of medicinal , aromatic and spice plants that are produced within the ACED these projects support this sector , even visitors had the opportunity to receive a gift dry Herb basil and dry marigold flowers.

Ethno Fair is partly educational character where held a variety of workshops and presentations on topics such as : preserving the traditional crafts , traditions, cultures, peoples of the region , to strengthen women’s entrepreneurship in rural areas , promotion of authentic gastronomy and other tourist resources etc.

Within the educational part , CARD has used the presence of a large number of rural women in the framework of regular activities of the project ” Civil society and rural development – CiSARD , financed by the organization ” We effect ” from Sweden , held a workshop in which they promoted ” GARD principles of strengthening the involvement women in the activities of local communities in rural areas . Also , the participants were presented , experience and results that rural women have achieved in the framework of CARD ‘s activities support sector of medicinal , aromatic and spice plants , as well as the chances for the development of women’s entrepreneurship in the form of agricultural production.
