Second module of training for professionals on the theme: “The psychosocial approach in working with victim / witness” for members of institutional support network for witnesses / victims from Trebinje was held from 5th to 7th october in Neum. The training was attended by professionals who work in the judicial institutions, institutions of mental health, social work, and other professionals coming into contact with potential witnesses and victims in order to obtain the basic knowledge about trauma, grief, needs proofing, exchange of experiences and strengthen professional capacities. Trainings are held by trainers from Foundation ,,Udružene žene” and ,,Vive žene” Tuzla.
On the second in a series of three training modules, representatives of multidisciplinary teams / networks to support victims / witnesses dealt with the themes: 1) Empathy 2) Trauma and testimony 3) Sequential traumatization testimony, 4) Traumatic memory and 5) Specifics rape trauma and memory.
Education is organized within the project ,, Ensuring access to justice for witnesses / victims by strengthening the existing and establishing new networks of support for witnesses in BiH “, which with the support of the European Union implemented ,, Vive žene” Tuzla, in partnership with ,, Medica “Zenica, Foundation ,, Udružene žene” Banja Luka and the Agency for Cooperation, education and development” ACED “Banja Luka.
