Capacity building training for 31 representatives of the student council networks of the Sarajevo Canton and the Bosnian- Podrinje Canton Goražde was organised in Sarajevo in period 15- 16 November 2018. During this training the networks, successful for years, demonstrated once again their great motivation to work for improvement of the high-school student status at schools, cantons and the country. The enthusiasm, initiative and creativity in solution-making our young citizens possess, represent a real justification of their moto saying that they are the problem solution, not a problem that requires solution. The network leaders, elected in consensus, led their peers through creation of the annual work plans and draft of the questionnaire to assess the needs of the high-school population in these cantons. Special attention in activity planning was paid to the guidelines received from the cantonal ministries of education, that the networks cooperate very successfully with.
This activity was implemented within the project „Youth Empowerment and Development Initiative“- YEDI, implemented by ACED in partnership with mreSVUBIH. The YEDI project is funded by the European Union.
