A public debate with government and student representatives from the area of Cazin, Bihać and Velika Kladuša was held on 7 September in Huremagić Motel in Cazin.
In addition to student representatives and high school students, the debate was attended by government representatives, coordinator of activities of the Public Institution Social Work Center Cazin and councillor in the Municipal Council Sulejman Samardžić, advisor to the mayor of Cazin Jusuf Bajrektarević and officer for youth of Cazin Ermina Beganović.
The debate focused on topics in the field of education, such as the beginning of the new school year with the rights as well as obligations of students. Through arguments and previous experiences of the participants, the course of online teaching was analysed.
The issue of what young people as individuals can do to maintain the quality of teaching was especially highlighted, regardless of the modality of performance. Participants tried to find an answer to what can be required from teachers, school administrations, institutions and the government itself in the context of the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Students and high school students presented their proposals and ideas to the government officials, related to teaching and solving problems in education.
