Regional conference of mreSVUBIH and the visit of the network council / student councils to the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Regional conference mreSVUBiH was held from 17 to 20 May 2015 in Sarajevo at the “Hollywood”. The conference bore the sign of regional, because in addition to high school students from Bosnia and Herzegovina, attended by representatives of high school students from Serbia, Croatian and Slovenia.
The conference consisted of two parts. The first part of the conference began the public debut of the realized activities in the academic year 2014/2015. year. The conference held a panel discussion was organized at the premises of the EU Info Centre on the topic “Bosnia and Herzegovina needs young people – stop the brain drain!” Then a reception delegation mreSVUBiH in the building of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. After the visit to the Presidency, there was a street performance in front of the SCC “To leave or stay.” The second part of the conference included the rezentacije structure, is completed activities and examples of good practice secondary bodies in the region, namely: Slovenia Đačke organization, the National Council of the Croatian students, student associations and the Croatian Union of Parliaments Leskovac’s high school students. As a result of the conference created a work plan and program mreSVUBiH for the school year 2015/2016. year, as well as the creation of a mechanism to work with high school students in the region. Program of developing student council networks in BiH, implemented by ACED in partnership with OKC, is financially supported by the European Union, the NED (National Endowment for Democracy), and BTD (Balkan trust for democracy).
