Agency for Cooperation and Development Education ACED and Foundation ,, Udružene žene “, with the support of the European Union, for the second year in a row, organized activies for International Day in Support of Victims of Torture. This year’s campaign will be held on June 25 at trg Krajine in Banja Luka under the motto ,, For a world without torture. ” Activities are organized within the project ,, Ensuring access to justice for witnesses / victims by strengthening the existing and establishing new networks of support to witnesses in Bosnia and Herzegovina “, with financial support from the European Union and implemented by the Agency for Cooperation, Education and Development ACED – Banja Luka, UG ,, Vive žene “- Tuzla, UG ,, Medica” – Zenica and Foundation ,, Udružene žene “. Great importance to support torture victims and witnesses / victims have a multidisciplinary support networks that are already established and which will be developed through this project. These networks comprised of professionals from institutions (prosecution, courts, mental health centers, social work centers …) and non-governmental organizations.

In addition to the Banja Luka Krajina Square, marking the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture, the project partners organized in several cities around the RS and FBiH: Zenica, Tuzla, Sarajevo, Brcko, Modrica, Visegrad, Mostar, Novi Travnik, Kljuc, Gorazde, the Bosnian Grahovo, Bihac, Bijeljina and Trebinje.
