In the period 22.-23. march 2017. held the second training for students council network from Sarajevo canton. The training was attended by representatives from 30 high schools from Canton Sarajevo, two representatives of the Bosnia-Podrinje Canton and President of mRESURS.
After the meeting representatives of student council from Canton Sarajevo with representatives of the Bosnian Podrinje Canton, followed by analysis of the problem at the level of the Council of highschool students. They talked about what it takes to improve the work of the councils, and the conclusion is that better information is the key to student success. In this way there is no disinterested high school students who refuse to work on the implementation of common activities. Besides summarizing previous activities, high school students have planned a work program for the current semester.
In their plan of activities are the events such as “Career Day”, marking the Day of Sarajevo and “Leave a trace” action. Also the campaign of mreSVUBiH has started, whose activities are also presented in Sarajevo. At the end of the trainings participants elected interim leadership. For the president was voted Sanja Trivković, first deputy Aida Karović and the second deputy Eldar Voljevica.
Program of developing networks of highschool student councils in BiH, implemented by ACED in partnership with OKC, is financially supported by EU Commission and NED (Natonal endowment for democracy).
